At Blundens, we understand the power of good data — and the importance of bringing it together in ways that create real operational value. We’re proud to be trusted by FQML to help drive the next phase of their digital evolution.
Antoinette Honegan, Founder and the brain behind HelloCath, is a registered nurse (who also trained as a midwife) with over a decade in healthcare working across the NHS landscape.
Antoinette’s journey towards founding HelloCath was shaped by her success in securing a de minimis grant from Innovate UK. With this funding, she developed and delivered a multilingual childbirth education pilot that connected expectant mothers with healthcare practitioners through on-demand video content. By lowering barriers to accessible, multilingual health education, the project highlighted the critical need for user-centred, inclusive healthcare solutions.
"..to empower women aged 20 to 45 by normalising conversations, creating community-driven products, and aligning bladder health with broader wellness and lifestyle experiences."
Building on this foundation, Antoinette launched HelloCath to address another overlooked area of women’s health: bladder health. In the UK, 1 in 3 women experience bladder issues, yet stigma often keeps the conversation in the shadows. At HelloCath, the mission is clear — to empower women aged 20 to 45 by normalising conversations, creating community-driven products, and aligning bladder health with broader wellness and lifestyle experiences.
With support on licensing, website development and automation strategies, HelloCath is positioned to lead a new conversation around wellness — one where confidence, education, and innovation remove the shame around bladder health. Winning further recognition from Innovate UK through UKRI funding marks an exciting step forward as HelloCath builds a future where women can live on their own terms.
